Former Super Eagles captain, Nwankwo Kanu, has congratulated Arsenal for winning the English FA Cup for the 14th time in its history after beating London rivals, Chelsea 2-1 at Wembley Stadium on Saturday evening.
A brace by Gabonese international, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, helped the Gunners to overcome Chelsea at the England National Stadium.
Kanu won three English FA Cups during his playing career.
He won the oldest club competition in the world in 2002 and 2003 with Arsenal and 2008 with Portsmouth.
The ex-Nigerian international, who spent five years at Arsenal, celebrated his 44th birthday on Saturday and described the North London club’s stunning FA Cup success as a perfect birthday gift.
