France U-21 captain, Matteo Guendouzi, has tested positive for COVID-19.
The on-loan Arsenal midfielder discovered that he had contracted the virus after returning to Hertha Berlin from international duty with France.
He led the France under-21 team to a 5-0 win over Liechtenstein on Thursday and a 1-0 victory over Slovakia four days ago.
The German side confirmed the development in a statement.
