Newly-promoted Italian Serie A side, Crotone, has rejected an initial offer from Udinese for the leading scorer in the lower division, Simeon Tochukwu Nwankwo.
With Crotone earning a direct promotion to the Italian topflight the club management plans to retain the services of the Nigerian international for next season.

Crotone president, Gianni Vrenna, has promised the fans that Simy would remain at the club for the 2020-2021 campaign.
The Super Eagles striker has scored 21 goals in all competitions this season, breaking his personal tally of 20 goals in a season recorded with Gil Vicente in Portugal.
