The Bauchi State Task Force on COVID-19 and Lassa Fever said on Saturday the state has recorded 19 new cases of COVID-19.
The Chairman of the Task Force Contact Tracing Sub- Committee, Dr. Rilwanu Mohammed, announced this in a statement in Bauchi.
He said: “As at 30 July 2020, 19 new cases were recorded in Bauchi. The state’s total number of COVID-19 deaths remained at 13. There are 560 confirmed cases in the state presently.

“Two persons had been discharged, one severe case is on the ventilator and has been responding to treatment.
“The total number of active cases so far on the hospital’s admission stands at 27.”
Mohammmed said the government was doing everything possible to curb further spread of the virus in the state.
