Nigerian international, Leon Balogun, has expressed happiness at the completion of his move to Scottish powerhouse, Glasgow Rangers.
The center-back also believes he is in tip-top condition after starring in Wigan’s futile attempt to escape relegation to League One.
It means that manager Steven Gerrard could hand Balogun his competitive debut when Rangers take on Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership next weekend.
“I think it is an advantage for me not to be coming off 14 days or 21 days break so I can come straight to fit into it, work with the team and get to know the team,” Balogun said to Rangers official website.

“The league starts next week, so I am looking forward to joining the squad and integrating as quickly as possible.”
Balogun, 32, will join up with his new Rangers teammates, including Joe Aribo and Calvin Bassey on Monday ahead of the new campaign.
