Altars of the Sun: Mysteries of the Pyramids
by Ndagi Abdullahi
The pyramids are completely unknown to modern humanity. Almost everything modern scholarship says about the pyramids might after all be wrong. The truth of the matter here is that nobody knows what the pyramids are all about.
Our historians, archeologists, scientists and all manners of research workers are always full of all brands of theories regarding the origin and utility of the pyramids but it is almost certain that almost everything modern mankind or modern scholarship says about the pyramids are wrong and completely baseless.
The truth of the matter is that the pyramids were built by an ancient civilization the knowledge and sciences of which are completely lost to modern mankind. It is therefore completely wrong for modern scholars to be talking of the pyramids in a surefooted manner as if they know for sure why the pyramids were built and who built the pyramids.
It is all too easy to see that the science and architectural engineering behind the construction of the pyramids is completely beyond the grasp of modern mankind. It is also evident that the civilization that built the pyramids is a very advanced one obviously far more advanced than our modern Western civilization. We can see quite easily that our modern science and technology of our Western civilization cannot build or maintain the pyramids.
A little comparison will demonstrate our point here: the pyramids were built several thousands of years ago but they have survived all these thousands of years with little or no maintenance at all because the civilization that built them and that can maintain them is long gone. But, and in contrast, we can see that our modern science and technology cannot build and maintain an architectural edifice for even a thousand years. The highest our modern architectural science and technology has been able to construct are the skyscrapers but we all know that our skyscrapers cannot survive on their own without maintenance for even a hundred years. Yet the pyramids have been around without any maintenance for several thousands of years.
It is totally wrong for our crack scientists and archeologists to keep on insisting that the people who built the pyramids were a primitive people. The nature of the science and technology that is behind the construction of the pyramids is evidently a supremely advanced one.
Western scholarship is also completely wrong with regards to the age of the pyramids. Western scholars have been falsely claiming that the pyramids were built just a few thousand years ago. It is commonly claimed by Western scholarship that the pyramids were built just some three to five thousand years ago. The truth of the matter, however, is that the pyramids were built scores if not hundreds of thousands of years ago.
The pyramids are obviously far more older than modern scholarship is claiming. The age of the pyramids is far beyond the age Western scholarship is assigning to them. The truth of the matter here is that Western scholars are nothing but a bunch of ignoramuses parading themselves as scholars just because they were accredited and given certificates of education by useless universities and institutions of education in the West.
Western scholars who knew nothing about the true nature of the pyramids are now the ones telling us nonsense about the pyramids while the entire world gullibly accepts the nonsense these people spurn in the name of academic exercise and scholarship.
The fact however remains to the effect that the pyramids were built by a people and a civilization that are completely unknown to modern mankind and therefore beyond the grasps of modern Western scholarship.
We see for instance, and contrary to the spurious claims of Western scholarship, that the pyramids were built long before the rise or emergence of dynastic Egypt. This, of course, means that the people who built the pyramids are not the ancient Egyptians whose pictures and daily lives we see are documented and depicted in the hieroglyphs on the pyramids. The people and civilization that built the pyramids far predated the dynastic Egyptians depicted in the hieroglyphs.
The point here is that the builders of the pyramids have completely disappeared into history without anybody really knowing who they were.
As a matter of fact the pyramids were not built as tombs or gargantuan graves for the burial of the ancient Egyptian kings as modern Western scholarship is always wrongly telling us. The pyramids were not built for burials. They were built for some ancient scientific or religious purposes that are completely unknown to us in modern times.
That modern Western archeologists are always discovering and unearthing the tombs of ancient dynastic Egyptian kings and aristocrats within the chambers of the pyramids doe not mean that the pyramids were built solely for the burial of the kings. As a matter of fact the pyramids were not built as tomb or for the burial of kings. In fact it is becoming more and more evident that the dynastic Egyptians who came and buried their kings and royalties inside the chamber of the pyramids were not the builders of the pyramids. The people and civilization that built the pyramids flourished and disappeared back into history a long time ago.
In the same vein we should mark the fact that the ancient Egyptian who came and drew their hieroglyphic features on the walls of the pyramids were not the builders f the pyramids. It is quite interesting to note the fact that the pyramids were built several thousands of years before the dynastic Egyptians came and painted their hieroglyphs on the walls of the pyramids while they also buried their kings in the chambers of the pyramids which they didn’t build.
So, the ancient Egyptians associated with the pyramids today were not the builders of the pyramids. It is quite easy to see that the nature and lives of the rather primitive ancient and dynastic Egyptians depicted in the hieroglyphs on the walls of the pyramids is quite too undeveloped to be that of a people that possessed the advanced science and technology to build the pyramids.
Dynastic Egypt flourished just some five or so thousand years ago but the pyramids were builds hundreds of thousands of years ago. So, the only logical conclusion here is that the ancient dynastic Egyptians simply came and saw the pyramids already thousands of years old just the same way our own modern Western civilization came and saw the pyramids already several thousands of years old. It is no wonder that both our modern Western civilization and the civilization of the ancient dynastic Egyptians have both failed to be able to define or fathom what the pyramids are all about.
As we keep on saying throughout this work, the pyramids were built by a people and civilization that are completely unknown to modern mankind. The fact here is that modern mankind may never be able to truly fathom or know for real what the pyramids were about or what were the pyramids.
The pyramids were built by a civilization in possession of a science and technology far superior to that of modern mankind and it seems only an utopian civilization in the eschatological future with a science and technology and knowledge superior to that of modern mankind might be able to decipher or know the true meaning and phenomenon of the pyramids.
In other words the pyramids were built by a superior civilization in the past and only an equally superior civilization of the future will be able to know what are the pyramids. Modern humanity have evidently failed to know what the [pyramids are and it is obvious that till the end of this historical era and the demise of Western civilization humanity may never be able to truly know what the pyramids are all about and what are the pyramids.
In any case we need to also note the fact that concentrating our attention or focus on just the pyramids of Egypt will not lead us to a greater or better knowledge of what the pyramids are all about. We need to note the fact that the pyramids of Egypt are just a class or a subset of the overall megalithic culture or civilization that built pyramids in various other parts of the world. We need to look at the Egyptian pyramids in the context of the fact that there are other pyramids in other parts of the world including the ziggurats of South America, the pyramids of Asia, and so on and on.
It is now clear that there was once upon a time a megalithic civilization that built pyramids and stone monuments throughout the world but most especially along the equatorial belt and tropical regions of the world. We see therefore a global stretch of pyramids and megalithic structures straddling the globe from one continent to the other. There are pyramids throughout Middle Africa, South America, tropical Asia and so many other parts of the world that it should be clear to all and sundry that science and architecture of pyramid building was a worldwide phenomenon and was not just restricted to North Africa or today’s Egypt alone.
Now then, if we see that the science of pyramid building was a worldwide phenomenon we might now go the extra step of asking for what were the pyramids built? For what purposes did the ancients embarked on the onerous task of building the pyramids? Modern mankind in answering this question often fails in noting the fact that the ancient civilizations that built these pyramids a long time ago were spiritual civilizations and not materialistic ones as is today’s Western civilization.
We often felt that because ours is a materialistic civilization the ancients who built the pyramids must have also done so for materialistic reasons. But that is completely wrong. It is obvious that the ancient civilizations that built the pyramids built them for spiritual purposes and not materialistic purposes as would have been the case with us today if we were the ones to build the pyramids today.
If the pyramids were built for spiritual purposes, as is most probably the case, then we would have to ask ourselves for what specific or particular spiritual reasons were the pyramids built? That is a question that modern mankind or Western scholarship may not be able to fully answer but it is quite certain that the construction and building of the pyramids definitely has something to do with the sun cultism of the patriarchal cultures of the ancients.
The very fact that the pyramids were built with an obvious direction or attention to the skies and the sun shows that the pyramids certainly have something to do with the sun cult of the ancients.
If we are to take this step further we will see that the concept of sun cultism has to do with the Religion of Light that came to overtake the Darkness Religion of the earlier annals of humanity.
In the beginning it was Darkness religion and the worship of Darkness that predominated in the remotest past of humanity and that was more so the case during the era of matriarchy or in those far off days when the world was more or less a matriarchate. But the Religion of Light and patriarchy came in latter times to supersede Darkness Religion and matriarchy and it was with the advent of the Religion of Light and Patriarchy that the architecture of pyramid building emerged.
The pyramids were obviously latter developments on what must have originally started as simple altars dedicated to the worship of the sun. Since these altars were dedicated to the worship of the Sun they were of necessity built upwards towards the sky in veneration of the Sun. That was obviously the origin of the building of altars no matter how small or simple the altars were, they were built upwards or in the form of a table facing upwards in the direction of the Sun.
In fact it seems the origin of the building of altars actually began with the dedication of religious services or rituals at the top of mountains. We still see reminiscences of these in the Semitic scriptures, and most especially throughout the Old Testament, whereby the Biblical patriarchs always have to retreat to mountain tops whenever they want to have a personal and passionate communication with God Almighty. And even in the New Testament we see the Lord Jesus Christ himself ascending to the Mount of Temptation and the Mount of Transfiguration and others.
Well it is clear that it was from the climbing of mountain tops to communicate with God that the idea was further developed to the building of altars on mountain tops to officiate rituals and libations or even burnt sacrifices to God Almighty. Whatever the case might have been the architecture of altar building gradually developed into that of building temples of the sun.
