Serial killer Peter Tobin was taken to hospital last night after collapsing in prison.
The murderer was taken from Saughton prison in Edinburgh to the city’s Royal
Infirmary after the alarm was raised.
He is serving life sentences for killing three young girls between 1991 and 2006.
Evil Tobin, who is thought to be suffering from cancer, has been rushed to hospital on
several occasions in recent years.
In January 2019 it was reported that he was too frail to leave his cell after being
struck down by cancer.
And in February 2016 he was taken to the Royal Infirmary by ambulance after he
reportedly collapsed in his cell.
Tobin was also slashed in the face with a razor blade during what was said to be a
prison attack back in 2015, leaving him with an 8in scar
Tobin has repeatedly faked illnesses in the past, however, even pretending to be dead
in his cell in 2012.
That year it was reported that Tobin had run up medical bills of £15,000, including
£200 on a special toilet seat after he claimed to have a bad back.
His trial in 2009 for murdering Ms McNicol was also interrupted three times when he
was taken out of Chelmsford Crown Court complaining of having chest pains and
