Friends are paying tribute to TikToker star Gabriel Salazar amid reports that he has

died in a car crash.

The 19-year-old’s death has not been officially confirmed, but friends of the social

media star has said that he died on Sunday in a car crash in San Antonio, Texas

.

Fellow Instagrammer Ricky Flores shared a tribute which read: ‘Rest easy brother.

‘Words can’t even explain how I feel right now. Man, I would do anything to get you

back right now bro.’

His post included pictures of the two friends together while another included a link

to a GoFundMe page.

The goal of the fundraiser, organized by his friend Chris Vazquez, is to raise money to

help the family with the funeral.

Vazquez wrote: ‘I don’t know what’s real and not real anymore but unfortunately

Gabriel Salazar passed away in a car crash on September 26 we couldn’t believe it

the moment we found out. Don’t really want to get into details because it’s so hard

for us to even talk about the pain he went through. Never expected this to happen

but now you’re watching over us. (sic)

‘Gabriel loved his family and was always horsing around with her sister and little

brother. He was always there with a big hug and smile, and his family will never

forget those warm moments. He was so funny with a quiet sense of humor and

sarcasm.’

He continued: ‘I cannot believe that I am sitting here writing this. How is this real

life? Words cannot express the heartbreak our entire community is feeling from the

loss of our Gabriel. Your family and friends miss you.

‘We are asking for support for his family. There will be time missed from work and

funeral expenses that will be too much for his family to afford. Please consider

donating and help relieve at least that sorrow and strain for his parents.’
