Tiger Woods hospitalized, the PGA golfer was taken to hospital after being injured
in a car crash in Los Angeles, police said. The golf star had to be cut out of
the vehicle by firefighters and paramedics following the accident on the border
of Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes on Tuesday morning.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department described the crash as a
‘single-vehicle rollover’ and revealed Woods’ car had ‘sustained major damage’.
The former world No.1 was taken to the hospital for treatment for his injuries.
The vehicle was seriously damaged,’ the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department
said in a statement.
‘Mr. Woods was extricated from the wreck with the ‘jaws of life’ by Los Angeles County
firefighters and paramedics, then transported to a local hospital by ambulance
