Harry Redknapp returns to Bournemouth, Redknapp has accepted a role to become an assistant to Jonathan
Woodgate at Bournemouth,it has been announced.
The 73-year-old, who managed the Cherries between 1983-92, makes a return to the south coast club
temporarily.
Jonathan Woodgate has enlisted the services of Harry Redknapp to help him out while he remains in caretaker
charge of Bournemouth.
Ex-Cherries boss Redknapp, 73, will act as a sounding board to his former player Woodgate during his temporary
reign at the Vitality Stadium.

Woodgate has been placed in charge while Bournemouth search for a new permanent manager after sacking
Jason Tindall last week.
Woodgate admitted one regret from his time as Middlesbrough manager was not having a more experienced
figure alongside him and being allowed to have one he could pick the brains of was one of his conditions of
accepting the caretaker Bournemouth job.
Redknapp, 73, told Sky Sports: “Jonathan Woodgate played under me at Spurs and he’s a great lad.
“He’s asked me to come in for a few days and watch them train.
“Just to be around the place for a few days, help keep my eye on things for him.”
Redknapp, who lives on the south coast, launched his managerial career at Bournemouth in 1983.
and has not coached since leaving Birmingham in 2017 but Woodgate said: “I have spoken to Harry quite a bit.
“He gives that advice and has been there and done it. He is a really good guy, who I know I can trust.”
Bournemouth have several managers in the running to take charge at the Vitality permanently.
