Tipper Driver Crushes Motorcyclist To Death In Anambra State,
An unidentified motorcyclist was crushed to death in a fatal accident that occurred in Umuazu Nteje in Anambra
Stateon Friday, January 22.
According to the source, the tipper driver was at a high speed when the motorcyclist “suddenly came out from
nowhere”. The spokesperson for Anambra State Sector of Federal Roads Safety Corps, FRSC, Edor Florence,
confirmed the accident in a statement.

She said that the multiple accident happened between Udoka Nwoya – the driver of Mercedes Benz Tipper
with registration number XA 156 EFR – and unidentified motorcycle rider without registration number.
The FRSC identified excessive speeding as the cause of the traffic crash that involved two male adults.
The motorcycle rider, according to her, was taken to Chira Hospital Awkuzu by the FRSC rescue team from
Nteje unit Command where he was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty and his body deposited at Wisdom
Mortuary Nteje.
Meanwhile, the Anambra State Sector Commander of FRSC, Andrew A Kumapayi, has again warned motorists
to avoid overspending, especially in built-up areas.
Kumapayi, who advised motorists to use a maximum speed limit of 50km/hour when in built up areas,
also warned motorcycle riders to always put on their safety helmet while riding to avoid head injury
during a traffic crash.
