Wolves striker Raul Jimenez was rushed to hospital after a sickening collision with Arsenal defender
David Luiz in the early minutes of Sunday’s game at the Emirates.
Jimenez required over ten minutes of medical attention after he collided with Brazilian defender Luiz
as the Mexican cleared at the front post from an Arsenal corner.
Luiz needed several minutes of medical attention but thankfully he was able to make it to his feet and he
managed to continue the game once the match was allowed to restart. Both sets of medical stuff attended to
Jimenez on the pitch and there was considerable concern on the sidelines, with manager Nuno Espírito Santo
looking close to tears as the striker was put in a neck brace and given oxygen.
NSL Learnt that Jimenez is responding to treatment and aware of his surrounding,
Wolverhampton Wanderers saw out a 2-1 win over Arsenal to move into the top six of the Premier League
at the Emirates. The game was halted inside of five minutes when Arsenal’s David Luiz and Wolves’
