Manchester United returned to winning ways at Goodison Park,
the red devil bounced back with a vital win after a back to back defeat Bruno Fernandes’
double eased the pressure on boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer,
Everton had earlier taken the lead through Bernard, who was set up by Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Jordan Pickford’s punt forward was flicked on by Dominic Calvert-Lewin before Bernard found the bottom corner
with a crisp strike. But within the space of 13 minutes, Solskjaer’s team completed a turnaround

Everton’s lead didn’t last long though, as Fernandes equalized with a superb header off a Luke Shaw cross.
Fernandes then put United ahead a few minutes later, with a cross meant for Marcus Rashford that the
Englishman got no contact. Despite that, the ball trickled past Jordan Pickford in the Everton goal.
With Everton chasing the game late on, Edinson Cavani scored his first Manchester United goal, after Fernandes
broke forward from midfield and played him in.
The win sees United avoid their worst start to a top-flight season after seven games since 1989-90, and gives
Solskjaer breathing space as the Premier League heads into the International break.
Victory for Everton would have taken them to the top of the table, but they struggled to break down United after
their opener and were thankful to Pickford who returned to the side and made several saves.
A third successive defeat means they remain fifth in the table as United climb to 13th.
