Victoria and David Beckham ‘land £16million Netflix series with unseen family footage’
Power couple David and Victoria Beckham have reportedly bagged a Netflix series showing unseen footage
of their family in a £16million deal
The show will focus on all facets of the journey and career of football icon David, 45, along with his family life
with wife and former Spice Girls member Victoria, 46.
It is reported that Victoria and her four children with David will feature prominently in the show.
NSL Learnt that the series will show a new side to David that “the public very rarely gets to see.”
A source revealed: “David’s family are all massive archivers; they’ve been proudly documenting his career since
he was a boy and have kept all the old local newspaper cuttings, school records, and team photos throughout
Former England, Manchester United and Real Madrid teammates — including Gary Neville, Cristiano Ronaldo
and Ryan Giggs — is expected to contribute.
Celeb pals such as James Corden, and best mate Dave Gardner, are also tipped to appear.
David’s best on-pitch moments, including his winning goal against Greece to get England through to the 2002
World Cup, will be replayed, as well as some of his worst, such as his sending off against Argentina in 1998
His memorable haircuts and outfits will also be featured, with David himself joking about some of his more left-
News of the forthcoming series, which is unlikely to air until early 2022, despite much of the archive footage
already being in the can, comes a year after David set up his Studio 99 media and production company.
Studio 99 is co-producing the venture and the hunt is underway for a top director.
The “99” is a nod to his former Spice Girl wife, whom he married 21 years ago.
