Fernandes to captain Manchester United against PSG, Speaking to the media ahead of the Paris Saint-Germain F.C clash, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said:
“Bruno Fernandes sits next to me, he will be captain.
The England defender and manchester united captain Harry Maguire has not travelled with the squad after
starring in United’s 4-1 win over Newcastle on the weekend.
Bruno, reacting to the news, said: “I was not expecting this – I found out this the same time as you! It is an
honour, an important achievement for me.
“The captain is everyone – everyone needs to help, be a leader on their way. The leadership is different in every player. It is not about me, but about the team.”
Harry Maguire will miss the Champions League clash with a small injury but the skipper is expected to recover in
time for the Chelsea clash on Saturday.
