Stray Bullet kills two land Grabbers, Police Clash In Ogun
Shotguns were heard during a fracas on Wednesday in the Ikogbo community,
in the Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State.

NSL Learnt, the incident occurred on Wednesday during a land dispute between Ikogbo and Imose communities.
Our correspondent understands that, an attempt to enforce a court judgment on the disputed land between
the two communities in favor of Ikogbo led to the bloody clash.
According to the source, the Onikogbo of Ikogbo, Oba Nurudeen Osoja, invited some policemen to enforce
the judgment and allegedly sealed houses on the disputed land.
But, reacting to the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi,
said the police were invited to rescue the situation, saying two persons died as a result of stray bullets,
as some suspected land grabbers struggled over a gun with a police inspector.
