Chelsea’s £62million star Kai Havertz, 21, wants to become a legend like his boss Frank Lampard, after
making his debut against Brighton on Monday.
Kai Havertz had an underwhelming debut, Naturally, fans were watching with bated breath to see how the
starlet would hold his own against Premier League opposition.
He had a quiet, unimpressive night to the displeasure of many fans. However, underwhelming is how his
debut should have been expected.
When asked about new boss Frank Lampard, He said: “I watched many games of him as a kid.
“He was also like the way I play as a midfielder — to go in the box, score goals and make assists.
“I loved him as a player. I was dreaming as a kid to play in the Premier League and for Chelsea as well.
“I’ve always dreamed of playing in a league like that and that dream came true very early.”
He added: ”Of course it’s a big price tag but I think in football today it is normal to pay these prices.
“So for me, I will not put a lot of pressure on myself because I think I’m not doing the worst things in the
past – that’s why the price tag was high
