The NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) Council of Presidents voted
on Tuesday to postpone national championships of most fall sports to the spring of 2021.
Sports impacted by the decision include men’s and women’s soccer, cross country, and women’s volleyball.
A decision on the football national championship is expected to be announced on Thursday.
According to the news release from the NAIA, the decision allows for conferences to compete in the fall
and winter if they choose to do so.

WBU’s volleyball team was slated to open the season on Sept. 6, women’s soccer on Sept. 11,
men’s soccer on Sept. 15 and cross country on Sept. 4.
